like to imagine we might start fixing the problems we're creating now. in this picture, i imagined a vast industrial building/network/being creeping slowly accross the landscape. the orange parts are ultra high bandwidth matter and information conduits, and the other structures might be superdense server farms and other Internet 4.0 infrastructure. underneath the slowly moving structures, bespoke industrial organisms clean pollutants out of the soil returning it to pristine preindustrial conditions, make billions of archeological finds and upload everything to Google World. in a few years much of the organism has moved on, leaving a subsurface hyperfast internet and computing centres in a landscape of villages, farms, arcology towns and parks.
